Cabo San Lucas

Swapping the backpack for a luxury resort.

Stepping into my #MindTravel plane to conjure about my experiences in #Mexico. My brother Louis took me to #Cabo and we stayed in an exclusive resort that let me peek into luxury traveling. I see, like everything else in this life, the sweet and the sour of commingling with a different social status of fellow travelers. We spent some time with super friendly, chill dudes from India... I enjoyed conversations with the locals whenever I could... and my brother’s best friends from #NYC upped the debauchery ante and really created a party wherever we went. #chinchin 🥂Flip side... some of the things I saw and heard from other travelers in the resort, well, my naive little hippie heart could barely listen straight-faced. Just blatant disregard and disrespect for the locals. A grandiose and overindulgent approach to money; the way some people think astonishes me... but I try not to judge... just to observe. I learned a lot about myself and about how important empathy and gratitude are. Nevertheless, as always, Mexico didn’t disappoint. The sourness of an experience makes the sweet parts even sweeter. xoxo #YourTravelBlogger PS Rented a car and traveled out of the tourist zones to partake in some amazing local eatin. The photo of the homestyle, simple dining room setup was in a small restaurant that served the BEST Mexican food I’ve ever had. ❤️
