Dutchies and Their Bikes
Trying to cross a bridge in Holland be like ...
Giethoorn, Netherlands
Playing roulette with my travel memories and had a lot of fun revisiting Giethoorn.
"There are no roads in Giethoorn, the picturesque hamlet known as the "Dutch Venice." In the tiny Dutch village of Giethoorn, the tranquility is almost dreamlike. That is, until you remember why it's so quiet—there are no cars. In fact, there's no way for cars to get around, because there are no roads." Inspiration Source | National Geographic
TRAVEL TIP FOR GIETHOORN:
Move out of the locals way when you hear the bicycle bell. Just like in Amsterdam, you get a maximum one, two bell warning.

P.S. I just started a TikTok. The platform is 100% addicting and that scares me. Doh. That aside, it's not at all what I thought it would be. There are some wonderfully creative people out there and I really like the old school, raw, back to basics kind of style I'm seeing so far. If you're venturing into this platform, let's stick together.
