El Squid Roe maybe... possibly… ranks top-10 in my dance club memories. I gotta think on that one. But here is a quick video of some of the wild fun that was had by all. I danced and sweated all night just taking that vibrant, exuberant, youthful, vacation-energy in.

P.S. Limelight - New York City - New Year's Eve - 2001 ... you just flashed through my eyes when I thought of dot dot dot the best. That night was a 'pinch me, I'm in a movie,' type of night. Alas, I barely had a coat to withstand the cold, very cold subways of NYC at 5 o'clock the next morning, let alone a recording device. So that memory is just for me and the lovely people who I partied with while the year turned from '00 to '01.

Sadly, Limelight shines no more. The Gothic revival brownstone built in 1845 -a once functioning church!- I hear is now a shop. So you can still mosey on in and check her out. Can't make it to New York City, check out this lovely video of a creator going into the historical and architectural detail of the building.
