I hated to do it and loved to do it at the same time. But I am a #ConceptArtist and Audrey was begging to be a social cliffhanger. Who am I to deny her?
 
I started working in the social marketing and advertising world back in 2008. When I opened my own marketing business in 2010 I remember having to convince business owners they needed a Facebook page. Man, I still remember so many prospective clients telling me that having a social profile wouldnā€™t help them reach their target market. šŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļø
 
At the beginning of this challenge, when my Audreys werenā€™t getting any likes, the sensitive soul in me took it personally. And as the weeks have passed and even though I am getting some action, some paintings that took so much of my heart didnā€™t get a single like. Iā€™m talking to you Audrey #TheDegenerate and Audrey #TheFifthElementā€” you helped remind me what this is all for. I am indeed trying to reach my patrons and collectors by showing all of myself, but I am not seeking to feed the algorithms. I donā€™t want to like for a like or follow for a follow; for once I am not playing that game. I am saying, this is meā€¦ do you like me? Man, itā€™s hard to the ego when I post to crickets but I remind myself every single postā€¦ damn, I ā€œlikeā€ her! And if I like her, the person she is meant to be with will like her as well. This ainā€™t for clicks. Iā€™m not here to feed the beast. Iā€™m here to connect with other people that have an insatiable appetite to explore the world through art, travel, music and philosophy.
 
What do *you* think todayā€™s Audrey is trying to express; if you could even see her final layer? Iā€™m getting an Audrey that unplugs and allows you to examine the #SocialDilemma we find ourselves in. šŸ”Œ
